Alessandra Korap From Amazon Wins Goldman Environment Prize

Union Cabinet Accepts National Medical Devices Policy

The Indian Government has initiated the National Medical Devices Policy to implement the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for medical devices and establish four Medical Devices Parks in Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh

Cummins, Tata Motors Signs Deal To Produce Clean Tech Products In India

NITI Aayog Releases Report Titled “Promoting Millets in Diets: Best Practices across States/UTs”

A report titled Promoting Millets in Diets: Best Practises across States and Union Territories of India was published by NITI Aayog. In the presence of Member (Health) Dr. V.K. Paul, Member (Agriculture) Dr. Ramesh Chand, and CEO B. V. R. Subrahmanyam, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman K.

Bery released the report. In various facets of the millet value chain, particularly in production, processing, and consumption, the report presents a collection of good and innovative practises adopted by state governments and organisations. The paper will act as a reference point for reintroducing and mainstreaming millets into our diets.

Finance Ministry approves Navratna status to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited

The promotion of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) to Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) was approved by the Finance Ministry on Wednesday. The 13th Navratna among CPSEs will be RVNL, a public sector organisation under the Ministry of Railways.

As of right now, RVNL is classified as a Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise. Since its incorporation in 2003, RVNL has been working on projects to build new railway infrastructure. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and the Railways recently awarded RVNL several orders, which prompted the start of the discussions about the upgrade to Navratna status.

Amit Shah launches IFFCO’s nano DAP fertilizer

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched IFFCO’s liquid nano Di-Ammonia Phosphate (DAP) on Wednesday.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Shah said, “The launch of IFFCO’s liquid DAP nano is an important beginning towards making India self-reliant in the field of fertilizers.”

The first Nano DAP (Liquid) has been launched in the world today, Shah said. This revolutionary step will not only take Indian agriculture forward in food-grain production but it will also make India self-reliant in fertilizer production also, he added.
