Julley Ladakh Program

To enhance awareness and foster engagement with the local community in Ladakh, the Indian Navy is organizing an outreach program called “Julley Ladakh” (Hello Ladakh). This initiative aims to create a better understanding of the Indian Navy’s role and connect with the youth and civil society in the region. As part of this endeavor, a 5000km Motorcycle Expedition was launched from the National War Memorial on 15th June 2023, with Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh, Vice Chief of Naval Staff, flagging off the event.

This outreach program follows the successful efforts of the Indian Navy in the North East region and the Sam No Varunah car expedition, where they engaged with citizens in coastal states. By undertaking such initiatives, the Indian Navy seeks to strengthen its relationship with communities across the country and promote awareness of its services.
