On July 19th, the Minister of State for Communication, Shri Devusinh Chauhan, and the Director General of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), Mr. Masahiko Metoki, jointly inaugurated the Regional Office of UPU in New Delhi. This office will be responsible for carrying out UPU’s technical assistance activities in the South Asia region. The establishment of the office was made possible through a host country agreement with the Department of Posts, India.
