Bank of Baroda Launches Cardless Cash Withdrawal Facility Using UPI
Bank of Baroda has introduced the Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) facility, allowing customers to withdraw cash from ATMs using the United Payment Interface (UPI). This service eliminates the need for a physical debit card and provides a simple, convenient, and secure method to access cash. Customers can select the ‘UPI Cash Withdrawal’ option on the ATM screen, enter the withdrawal amount, and scan the QR code displayed using a UPI-enabled app to authorize the transaction with their UPI PIN.
The ICCW functionality extends to customers of other participating banks using UPI applications. Customers can choose the specific account for cash withdrawal if multiple accounts are linked to their UPI ID. The facility allows for two transactions per day, per account, with a withdrawal limit of Rs 5,000 per transaction. Bank of Baroda operates a widespread network of over 11,000 ATMs across India.
