Shivendra Nath, a UPSC 1994-batch officer, has been appointed as the Chairman & Managing Director at Engineering Projects India Ltd (EPIL), a PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.
Nath’s Career Milestones and Current Role at BSNL
Shivendra Nath began his engineering career as the Engineering Project Manager of P&T Department, Indian Engineering Services. Presently, he serves as Chief Engineer at BSNL, with prior experience as Superintending Engineer at Naya Raipur Development Authority.
Nath’s Extensive Expertise and Role as Chief Executive at EPIL
With over 25 years of expertise in infrastructure development, contract management, sustainable water solutions, urban planning, and government administration, Nath takes on the role of Chief Executive at EPIL. He will report to the organization’s Board of Directors and ensure successful attainment of corporate objectives.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PSEB)
The PSEB is responsible for selecting individuals for key positions in Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), providing advisory services to the Government on appointments and related matters.
