With funding from the Department of Science and Technology’s NM-ICPS Mission, IIT Kanpur, in partnership with its incubated start-ups Threat Guardians Pvt Ltd and Worker Union Support, has launched the Cybersecurity Skilling Program.
Objective Of Cybersecurity Skilling Program
The program’s goal is to provide students with a thorough understanding of the technical underpinnings of cyberspace and cyber issues. It also aims to familiarize students with current cybersecurity methods and techniques while focusing on models, tools, and techniques for implementing security.

Vijay Sampla, the head of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, complimented C3iHub at the inaugural ceremony for its support of the cybersecurity industry and its initiatives to inform and empower students in this area.
He also talked about the different initiatives run by the Indian National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
Cybersecurity Skilling Program Eligibility
Vijay Sampla emphasised the pervasiveness of cybercrime during the opening event and applauded C3iHub for its efforts to promote a safe and secure cyberspace.
The Cybersecurity Skilling Program seeks to give students a thorough understanding of the technological fundamentals of cyberspace and cyber problems, as well as current cybersecurity methodologies and procedures. It focuses on models, tools, and techniques for implementing security.
Students who successfully finish the eight-week online program will earn a credential from C3iHub, which will boost the credibility of their professional profile. The program comprises live classes, online assignments, and hands-on training.
The top 100 students will also get access to internship possibilities. With free registration for SC/ST students and a small fee for students from the unreserved category, the program is open to all students and professionals. The program’s enrollment cutoff date is April 30th.
