World Health Assembly 2023
Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, delivered a speech at the 76th Session of the World Health Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland. PM Modi also showcased India’s notable accomplishments in healthcare over the years. These include the implementation of Ayushman Bharat, the world’s largest health insurance scheme, the substantial improvement of health infrastructure, and initiatives aimed at providing sanitation and clean drinking water to millions of families.
