Naval Airfield Security Systems gets Upgraded at INS Dega
On June 12, Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta, flag officer commanding-in-chief of the Eastern Naval Command, inaugurated the Naval Airfield Integrated Security System (NAISS) and the Naval Anti-Drone System (NADS) at INS Dega in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. These state-of-the-art systems were designed and developed indigenously to enhance the security of the naval airfield.

During the inauguration, it was revealed that the Naval Airfield Integrated Security System (NAISS) and the Naval Anti-Drone System (NADS) at INSDega in Visakhapatnam were developed by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). On the other hand, NADS is an anti-drone system designed to detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones near the airfield.
